Making an S curve with Photoshop Elements

Ok I give up. Does anyone know the equivilent of the pen tool in regular photoshop. I can make an s curve in photoshop but with Elements it is turning into a lot of 4 letter words. I have tried everything or so I think. Or if any one has done it before. I went though the tutorials in the faqs, something I highly recommend, but no luck.

Has anyone done an S curve in elements before. I may have to break down and buy regular photoshop for the home.
