Hello,

every report I make, I make in the same style. Is it possible to make some sort of standard format of my own style that I can choose with every new report I make?

Jeroen.

In Crystal 8.5, one can make a basic report in the right style, including basic database links. Then use [Save As] to create copies which can be renamed and modified.

The software tool does also offer templates in the strict sense of the term. But I've never found this necessary and some people have had problems with them.

Using [Save As] is also a good idea when you are developing a large or complex report. Use it to make backup versions, so that not too much work is lost if the report becomes unusable. This has happened to me more than once.

Madawc,

very simple but very effective! (can't believe I didn't think of this myself!)

Thanks,
Jeroen.
