Hello,
I have an NT 4.0 server that is about to be replaced with a 2003 sbs server. I do not need to migrate anything, as I have already built the new server to the proper specs, but my customer wants to be able to access this old server as just a node on the network ( I'm sure for pictures, and stuff like that). Other than changing the IP address, what do I need to do to "demote" this server from a DC to just a node? Thanks in advance.

You cannot demote an NT4 Server from a PDC/BDC to a member server, it needs to be rebuilt.

Unless you use "upromote", and then you can I found out. It's $99, but it works great!

I actually just used Upromote to do exactly this and it works like a charm. It's really worth having
