Is it possible to take an image, make it hidden, then appear when mousing over a text link? All this without having the image in a placed in a layer, but in a cell of a table.

let me know if you have any more problems-what I did there was really simple out of Dreamweaver.

also- it just occurred to me, most of that code was junk left over from something else. Let me know if you need to see it clean

I could use a clean version. I know I would eventually filter out all the unnecessary stuff, but if it's easy for you to pull out what I need, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just 3 or 4 simple steps here. Note the exact pixle dimentions of the image you want to show on mouse over. Make a gif at those dimensions and set the fill color of the gif to the exact background color of your table. Insert your dummy image wherever you want the promted image to appear and give it a name in the properties panel;insert your text link wherever you want it. Select that link (be sure it's the a tag) and open the behaviors panel. Select the swap image behavior and select the above image from the list. In 'set sourcet' select the image you want to appear. Leave 'swap restore' checked. Set action to 'on mouse over'... and that's it.
