Is it possible to create a Vb1.exe program that takes information from a form and generates a vbapp.exe application.

Vb1.exe program would run on a MS computer without visual basic installed.

Yes its possible but it sounds like you're trying to write a compiler.

OK so it's possible. Thanks.

What we are trying to do is an ebook compiler, not exactly a compiler but a .exe that would include all pages included in that book into a new executable (ebook).

Any suggestions on how the first .exe could pick-up these *.html files and include them in a new *.exe ?

Thanks in advance.

Look at attaching a resource file to the end of your exe. Then you could update the files in the same EXE without having to recompile the actual code. All you would need to do is simply write data onto the end of the EXE. - Jeff Marler B-)
