I want to change a rectangular digital photo into an elliptical one for use on a label I'm making. If I simply crop in Corel Photopaint, the pic still has a whit rectangular border when I copy it into Corel Draw. I've got 'select edition' of both packages. Can anyone help??

Instead of cropping your photo, just draw an elipse, import your digital photo into your document on top or almost on top of your ellipse. Whilst the photo is selected go to Effects > Powerclip > Place Inside Container, and select your ellipse. If you don't like where it is positioned within the ellipse, then go back to Effects > Powerclip> Edit Contents. When you have it where you want, go to Effects > Powerclipo > Finish Editing. Your done.
