Hello there...
I have a database which I want to make it a single standalone db with onl execute or read permissions.
Is there any way so that i can execute it from cd without having Access 2000 on PC ( My boss wants it this way)
any ideas please...really appreciate it..

No!
That's the short and easy answer. What you can do is purchase the developer's edition and put the runtime files on the CD. This will allow you to run the database on a machine without having Access, but it will usually copy the database to the user's hard drive.
Another way round it would be to recreate it in Visual Basic, which is fine for forms, but rubbish for reports!
If access (or another runtime database) is already installed you can run the database from the CD as long as you open it read only.

Probably not the answers you wanted to hear, but there you go!
