Someone i know has a website where they have taken a CSS code that has been written for tham. What should i be looking to do to it that will stop all their images from being black and white.

It is not something i have encountered before, though i should imagine it will just be a case of deleting the correct line.

Many thanks in advance...

It's probably an IE filter or a javascript solution that is doing this. If you post a link to the site in question, we will be able to see how it is being applied.

Myspace has been such a pain for friends of mine who tamper with their code through another site generating what they want. There is always something small that they didnt want and is normally hidden somewhere that i dont know where to find it... or in this case, what i am looking for.

The images on the link that you gave aren't in black and white on either Firefox or IE? Can you elaborate on what you mean?

It is just that main profile picture at the top left of the page. This is another thing that has me confused... why it is only being applied to that image and the cartoon dog picture for example, retains all the colours.

I still see that image in full colour in IE7 and Firefox 2.0. However, if you look at the source code of that page there are IE image filters there so that could be the cause.

those filters are something i have never encountered before. I have removed them and it turns out those are indeed the cause to the image appearing in black and white.

I will be reading up on these filters!

:)

thank you very much for all your help.
