There should be a Control thats about 4megs(if I am not mistaken IE is really just a navigation bar attatched to this Dll)
In Project..Componet, it should be Microsoft Internet Controls (SHDOCVW.dll), which will appear to be just a blank white screen, this is your Webbrowser, then you just have to create the User interface to control the content inside of this URL window. Since any computer would have IE(ever since that anti-trust prob with Win98) using this method should be very portable to all Windows users. And It would look like you did the whole thing yourself. Another method would just be using TCP/IP controls, downloading the HTML file, and decoding it yourself. Which would take much more time to actually do everything provided in HTML 4.0 especially browser-specific things.
Karl
kb244@kb244.8m.com
<a href=
Experienced in , or have messed with : VC++, Borland C++ Builder, VJ++6(starting),VB-Dos, VB1 thru VB6, Delphi 3 pro, Borland C++ 3(DOS), Borland C++ 4.5, HTML, ASP(somewhat), QBasic(least i didnt start with COBOL)
