Hi Guys, i hope you can help me with this question. Im a bit of an access novice and novice in code but hoping you will stil be able to explain what to do.

I have a table with 3330 records and i want to make a simple report based on all the fields in the table. The thing that is the problem is that I only want the records shown that have data (words) in the field "Code" for this particular report.

But I cant seem to find a clear explanation in my books or in help as to how to do this. Everytime i try something I end up getting a report with all the records.

I tried doing a query, sorting by the field and deleting the records with nothing in that field and yet it then deletes those records in the main table as well.

Can someone help me please.

If you want to exclude records where the field
Code:
is null then create a query based on your table and set the criteria under the [Code] field to:

   Is Not Null
