Hello All,

I was wondering as to how few sites provide the option of altering our browser settings and set our home page to their URL.

Anyone who has any knowledge about it, please let me know

Thanks and regards,
A

I suggest you don't do this. It's unsociable and would discourage any serious visitor from ever visiting your site in the future. That's why so few sites (other than script kiddies and spammers) try this nowadays.

Cheers,
Jeff

I noticed that the OP said "provide the option" (emphasis mine). That's a friendlier way to do it. Still, I don't think it's worth the bother. Most people don't change their home page once it is initially set, and if they want to, they can do it themselves.

You are very likely to scare people away from your site for good if you do this. I'll stick another vote in the "not reccommended" group.
