Making a FLASH movie into a VCD

OK, I know how to convert my flash project into an AVI movie & I even convert it to VCD format.

Is there any way to keep my flash movie (AVI) as an interactive program where the buttons and the actual commands attached to the buttons such as GOTOscene or STOP can be used on my VCD played in my DVDPlayer.

When I create a VCD the DVD player just steps from scene to scene and I have no interaction.

cant be done....buttons and other interactive things that
work in flash wont transfer over

all you can do is recreate things like menus in the DVD authoring app

What is the best DVD authoring app. Any suggestions highly appreciated. I have NERO.

i always use director for this sort of task as all interactivity in director is saved in dvd and you dont need a dvd authoring package

given the price of many of these tools if you are considering a purchase then i would recommend giving director a long hard look
