I have a few historical reports created in Crystal that I need to put in the Public Folder so All Supervisors can see them and run them. Is there an easy way to do this?

Did you import them into your private folder?

You should be able to resave them in the public folder.

When you save a report, there is a drop down menu to define where they are saved.

I did import the report and it is in my Private Folder. When I go into Report Detials and pull down the "location" drop down it only gives me Private as an option. Even when I populate the "Save As" fields.

How else can I make it public? It is a custom report generated in Crysatl Reports and it runs fine from the Private Folder but I need everyone to have access to it.

Does your call center have a public or shared reports folder? This is only available on the Web Client.

Your administrator will need to create a new Report Group and give access rights to the other others with which you want to share.

It may already exist, but if you don't have rights to it, you will not see it.

Is it simply that you have not assigned the report/report group to a suitable partition?

Possibly - I am semi new at this system. Where do I find the partition? Shouldn't I be able to do all of this through CCM? Do I have to do it through RCW?

I have them inported as private but what to make them available to all to see and run.

Yes you can do all of this through CCM, but it depends on what your access rights are. To see all partitions you need either to be a member of ALL partitions or NONE of them and have administrator rights to Access and Partition Management. It may seem a bit strange that you can see all partitions if you are a member of none of them. If you are a member of some but not all then you can only see the info relevant to the partitions you are in.

Hope this makes sense.
