I have just bought Photoshop Elements. I have 2 different photos that I want to make into one photo. I want to take the entire photo #1 and put it alongside photo #2 as one whole photo; like a comparison thing. I really can't figure out how to do this!!

Use the crop tool to increase the canvas size of one of your photos. Select the other photo by making that image the active window then go to Select>All. Then go to Edit>Copy.

Make the destination image the active one by clicking on it then go to Edit>Paste and the photo will be copied onto a new layer in that window.

Thanks, that worked, sort of. I found that I had to increase image one's size exactly the size of image 2 which is very tricky! Seems like a clumsy way to have to do it.

The easier way to do this with photoshop is to change the canvas size. image/canvas size. By using this method you can control where the pixels are added fro by clickig the arrows.
