Hello,
I need to make the main window of Visual FoxPro 7.0 scroll.
I have an application that runs on high resolution but I cannot make the main VFP WINDOW SCREEN scroll for notebooks.

Thank you for any help.

What have you tried? What hasn't worked?

I'm almost afraid to suggest _Screen.ScrollBars = 3 because the whole enterprise seems like a questionable approach but have you tried it?

If you talk about VFP7 itself, it runs ok on rather small resolutions. If you talk about the exe you have to have sources to make the modification Dan suggests. It would be worth a try. One thing you could do to not need a change of the EXE is to see, if your graphics driver allows to configure a higher (virtual) desktop size, so the desktop resolution is higher than the display resoulution, which enables you to scroll just by moving the mouse to the display edges. The EXE itself would maximise to the higher desktop resolution.

Otherwise see, if it's cheaper to redesign the application or modernize the notebooks.

It's always good to define a lowest screen resolution needing support before starting to develop, if it's a custom development for your company. Sorry to state the obvious.

Bye, Olaf.
