My database holds the chord charts for songs; essentially it's the lyrics and chords above the work where you play the chords. Here's an example:

Code:
G C D C
Lord I lift your name on high
G C D C
Lord I love to sing your praises...

Spacing is important, so I have to use an even spaced font so that when I print and view the chord charts the chords will appear where they are to be played.

What would be really nice is if the chords themselves could appear in bold and the rest of the text in normal.

Is this possible?

Are the chords and the words in the same field? Have fun!)

Yes they are. If there is a way to get them separated but lined up that would be fine. In my mind that would entail having a field for each line of a song, and the number of lines in a given song varies, and so on and so on. In my "novice" opinion I can't separate the chords from the words. If someone can think of a way that would be excellent...

But yes, they are in the same field.
