I have a site that says they cannot call a new cellphone prefix, i have checked programming and it looks fine, the nxx is there and programmed like all the others that are working fine. I am sure this is user error but need to verify for myself. is there a way i could access a channel remotely and make the call?

sorry, i should add that i am on an option 61 rel 23 if that makes any dif

Make up a phantom which DCFW to a known cellphone number in the new range, then place a call to your phantom DN and trac it in LD80 and see what you get.

You might also want to check that the NCOS values have been updated to accomodate the new prefix.

Good judgement comes from experience, which usually comes from bad judgement..

If DISA package 22 is enabled, config it and access remotly.
Configuring a phantom is a solution. Configuring IDC works better.

Last solution is LD 77. All commands like you are a user typing set keys are avaliable, but access to that LD is restricted with pwd...!!!

The local phone company probally doesn't have the new NXX translations configured correctly. I have had this same thing happen about 4 times and it has always been the Local telco.

THANKS! using the phantom worked great for the testing, i was using an acd, is that a bad idea since i dont input any ncos, i wasnt sure.

thanks to everybody for your help.

if the cdb opt cfo is turned on the ncos in on the inbound trunk.. so look at that trunk for your ncos setting.. if cff is used then go to a soft set and use that, i use disa with rfcw and an analog port to test that loop around or ld 36 call command..
