I have tons of Reports in Access 2003 based on queries etc.

When I ran first Report it runs well but second one will give an error 'Table in use by another process'.

I found out if I am switching from Make Table Query to Append query this problem is gone.

My problem is that I need to re-write so much now and add Delete and Append queries to all modules. It is a huge pain!

Any advice on how to break Made Table connection after executed?

Thanks

I imagine you report is based on the table you have created, if this is so, set the recordsource of the report to "".

How will Report know where to get data from? Interesting idea but totally un-familiar to me. Please, tell more.
Thanks

The general idea is to save the recordsource to a string variable, set the recordsource to "", run the query, and then reset the source to the saved string. However, if you post some code, someone may have a better idea.
