Howdy y'all!
I use SCO UNIX 5.2v5.06 and I am having problem with sendmail.
My domain name is mif.com. I use a smart host named mailman. mailman run MS Exchange ...
All emails sent through out home grown application, running in unix, or even from command prompt, show USER@mif.mif.com instead of USER@mif.com as From on header.
I have a genericstable and aliases with all my user names and their respective domain names.
How can I have 'sendmail' use these or one of them?
/etc/mail is empty. I edited my /usr/lib/sendmail.cf and set DD and DM to blank and From still appears same.
Searching for answers, I came across a post that suggest looking at
but I don't even now where these functions are set of if this is something you do prior to compiling !!!????
Please help, this is driving me crazy.
Thanks;
