Hi all,
Could some one guide me how to make my IPCC (2nd line) the default line for outgoing calls.
When i pick up my handset i want to get the dial tone from line 2 without having to manually switch lines.
we're on call manager 6.1 and using 7941 and 45s.

Thanks

You can't. It picks the primary line by default and it is embedded. You will have to switch the keys in programming or educate the agents to manually select their IPCC line to dial out.
The first is a lot of work if you have a lot of agents and the latter is hit or miss depending on the agent environment. Telling the agents that it is part of their job description using the second line might do the trick. Sups can monitor that btw.
If that doesn't work reprogramming is your only other option.

It's under the phone programming in the web interface.
However since those lines will be deleted and recreated and they are agent lines it becomes a little more involved. Once you recreate them they will have to be reassociated to the jtapi user as well as the agent user. Otherwise they will not operate as agent lines after that.
I suggest to try one in a test bed and see if you can make it work. If not you might want to have your cisco VAR show you or walk you through one or all of them.
