I am using CR XI full version. I am using a dbase database.

I have created a running total field that computes a weighted average value that resets on a change of group.

When the weighted average value is zero, it will print nothing. I would like it to print 0 instead of nothing. I have looked to see if this is a report option but could not find anything.

Right click on the running total->format field->number->customize and see if "suppress if zero" is checked. If not, you might have a null somewhere that is causing a null running total. You could either go to file->report options->and check "convert nulls to default value" or, you could write a formula like:

if isnull({#yourrunningtotal}) then 0 else
{#yourrunningtotal}

-LB

Thanks for the info. I fixed it by setting the "Convert other Null values to default."
Thanks for the quick response.
