I have an imported SWF member in my director movie that I can communicate fine with using Lingo (i.e. - mouse down events, go to marker, etc.) The only thing I can't make it do is change the cursor to a finger on rollover. How do I make a series of buttons inside the sprite and not the whole sprite created in flash (imported as a swf file into director) change cursor properly in my movie?

Thanks in advance -

Crispy

Just use a transparent hot spot(field) and put the cursor change on it. I hope this helps. Cheers~Frank Cheers~Frank

That is my normal procedure, but in this case, the imbedded swf file has multiple pages with buttons in different places. Since it only takes up one sprite in the movie, if I put a hotspot in one area, as the swf progresses, the rollover would appear in a place where there used to be a button but there is none now.
Did I make that confusing enough?

I thought there was Lingo associated with flash members like "ButtonEnabled" but I can't figure it out...

Thanks,

Cris

Just go inside Flash and on your buttons put the object action called get url then in the line for the url type in lingo:cursor 280 or 290 or whatever the number is for the finger. This allows the Flash button to pass on the lingo instructions for Director to handle. Make sure you put this action on your buttons twice, one for the rollOver and one for the rollOut.
