Does anyone know of a way to do this? I know UBit does it for Word/Excel/Powerpoint but I need it for Outlook. I know it can be done to 07 because the PC im on now had it done but I have no idea how.
Thanks

So you want the new version to look like an old version that you are familiar with?

If so, I can totally understand, but…

As much as I hate the look and feel of the new versions, I would strongly suggest to ‘bite the bullet’ and get used to the new version. Why? Let’s say you can make 2010 look and feel like 2003, and then in a year or two you get the 2012 version and you still be able to make it look like 2003. And then in version 2013 you will not be able to change the look and feel. And then what? You will be totally lost. And nobody will be able to help you because you will be about 10 years behind everybody else.

Remember Windows 3.1? Remember File Manager? (You may not remember, it was many years ago… That shows you my age ) You could for some time make Windows Explorer look like File Manager. Imagine now you need to explain to somebody how to use Explorer because the only way around their HD they know is File Manager.

Have fun.

Thanks for the response Andy,
Yea personally I would like everyone to have to learn the new stuff because like you stated above, if I do eventually there will come a time I'll have to explain the new stuff anyway and by that point the user will be totally lost. My boss here contracted a virus and it looks like a windows redo is inevitable and he is using Office 07 that somehow, i cant find a plugin or installed program thats doing it, looks like 03. He HATES change and I was hoping for a quick fix to ease the transition to a "new" PC. I should just bite the bullet and explain to him how to run stuff because there is no real free way or sensible way to do this.
Thanks again for the reply, he will just have to deal with it.

"Those who do not update are domed to be outdated and grow old and unwise as there programs do.

"Those who do not update are domed to be outdated and grow old and unwise as there programs do."

Shouldn't that be: "Those who do not update are 'doomed' to be outdated and grow old and unwise as 'their' programs 'are'." ?

Just sayin'. ;)
