Make outgoing call while incoming call is ringing

If our reservation clerks need to make an outgoing call like to ask the manager a question, they cannot place the call until any incoming calls stop ringing. On a high volume call day that may take a while.

Is there anyway to make it so that they can make the call?

Might work if you disable ringing line select in the set COS for those extensions. However, to answer an incoming call they would have to select the ringing line key instead of just picking up the handset.

can you add a aingle line with a dummy number and press the key to select it before lifting the handset - that should give you dial tone
