I have several XP Pro machines with multiple users but only one Email account for each terminal. I want to make the default profile so any user that logs on will use that profile. I assume this should be set through Win.INI file but not sure how. Don't want to have to set up each users mail.

Confused as to what you want???

Do you mean all users that log on use the same email account??

Or is this how it is now, and you want each user when logged on to have their own email account.

Either way, are these PC's or terminals in a win server environment? or??

Hi, thanks for the reply...

OK,, each terminal has 1 email account for multiple users..
I want to set it up so that all users that log on to that machine current and future use the same email account without having to go into each account and set it up and all the incoming mail can be seen by all users...
Hopefully that is clear enough to send me in the right direction.. I have to use OE because the Database that is run on the terms auto sends a number of reports when prompted. This is a Win 2000 domain setup.. Each eser does have thier own startup batch file biult when I build thier accounts
Any help would be great.

Thanks
Mike

If these users only log into this station & do not have personal email accounts I think you can accomplish this.

I assume that there are not 100,s of users.

If each user log on with their own name, there will be a profile for each user, edit their OE status to point to a specific location for the mail.

i.e. I have moved my OE mail files to a dir- 'mymail' and OE has been set to locate mail there.

Redirecting each users OE to find mail at a common location is all that I think you need to do.

If they have personal email, it would depend on what their logon script to the domain predicates.
