make homepage button!

hI ppl!

i just saw a site where they made thier site my browser's homepage, they use a link on which they put the code. can anybody help me create a flash button which does the same? i can't quite get the hang of it. i already made the button, but it doesnt seem to work the way i want it!
help please!

heya, this is the code u would use to do the same job if you were linking off an html page. I would imagine u can also add it to a button in flash. Try it, you may need to make a slight variation..

OK, i tried that and i cant get it to work. I think you may have to use the fscommand in flash, but this is quite complex and involves adding some VBscript to the html document in which the movie is embedded. I'll keep on looking and post back if i work anything out. Nick (Web Designer)
