Hey folks,

I'm desperate ...
Can it be that it is really THAT complicated to accomplish ????

All I want to do is make Grub (SLES 10) offer me an additional entry to choose from at boot time so that I can boot my Windows partition /dev/hda1 ...

Now there's this Yast -> Boot Loader feature.
I already tried the "Propose New Configuration" button but it won't add me the Windows partition. I have now idea how to add it manually and haven't been able to find anything on the internet so far.

Is there anyone who could help me out with an "easy" way to add my Windows partition to the Boot Loader menu ... ?

Regards
Thomas

Thanks a lot, that was a good starting point.

I had to change it a bit and after using some of the keywords provided in the manual to google some more I finally found out the following is going to do the trick:

Code:
title Windows
root (hd0,0)
makeactive
chainloader +1

Sometimes life can be so easy ...
