In Octel if you dial the lead number to voicemail from a phone that doesn't have a mailbox built for it, you can make it go to a menu or app of your chosing.

Is there a way to make Call Pilot do the same thing?

Thanks

Unforunately, no; there are two AUI (Alternative User Interface) which allow one digit commands rather than the two digits that Call Pilot traditional interface uses, but it still isn't exactly like an Octel. You could try building an extention utilizing the thru-dial feature that goes to an application for the corporate directory.

For what it is worth - we just moved from Octel to Callpilot, and we are trying to use Octel emulation.

If we had it to do over again we would not bother, it has caused much more confusion and trouble than it is worth. It was never made clear to us that the Octel emulation mode could not access all of the features. It has been much more confusing to explain to users to call one number to check voicemail, then another if they want to setup remote notifcation etc. It would have been much easier to just give them a new list of commands to learn.
