I am in search of the policy that is causing my XP users to not be able to deselect the option "Make Available Offline". We have set all users "My Documents" to be redirected to the server but they are unable to deselect folders in there that they do not want to have available offline. We are running in a mixed mode both XP and W2K.

Users of W2K can pick and choose which items in their My Documents folder they want to make available offline. As for the XP users, the option is selected and greyed out which it cannot be changed.

What policy in AD is causing my XP users not to be able to select what folders/files they want to make available offline. Is the W2K policy conflicting with that of XP?

All users "My Doucments" folder is redirected to their personal drive on the network. I want to give the XP users the ability to select which folders/files are available offline. Right now, anything put in their "My Documents" folder is made available offline and cannot be changed. For some they have over 2GBs in their My Documents folder and they only need some of the files available offline, not the entire 2GBs

Any info is appreciated.

Thank You
