I have link that generates a Crystal Report...however, the report is quite involved and takes about 15 seconds to run. I would like to kick the report off as a thread....then goto another page that "sleeps" and checks for the creation of the report....once the report is created then goto another page. Ultimately I guess the functionality I am looking for is similiar to a timer on the windows side. Thanks for any advice on how I should go about this. I am kinda' new to the web side of stuff.
