Make a textbox Read Only using Excel 2000 VBA

Hi, I just want to know how to make a textbox read only without setting the enabled property to false.

I use a method called setfocus on these textboxes which requires them to be enabled.

Any help would be appreciated.

I thought that I already responded to this, but I must not have submitted it. If you set the locked property to true on the box and the caption to what ever you want it to be, the box can then have the focus, but is still read only.

You can also use a label instead, formatted to view as a text box.
