Make a textbox Read Only using Excel 2000 VBA

Hi, I just want to know how to make a textbox read only without setting the enabled property to false.

I use a method called setfocus on these textboxes which requires them to be enabled.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using controls on a user form, you can set the locked property to true, and still set Focus to the object. I am not sure why the object would need focus if it is read only though.
