Hello guys
If you want to make an XP bootable cd with SP2 slipstreamed and you can't wait for Bcastner's guide do this.
It works tested it earlier with a fresh install on a laptop...
Follow this guide.
(yes i know it says win2k but it works)
What you need to change as it is windows xp is. The following
If your source cd was a slipstreamed sp1 cd you would have a file called.
"win51ip.SP1"
Delete this file and only leave this file
"win51ip.SP2"
I haven't checked but if your source media is one without servicepack 1 you don't have to delete anything.
Thats all as I said I have tested this and it works ok.
If you have any doubts and don't want to waste the money (peanuts these days) on a cd-rom test it out on a rw disk.
Regards
Kim
