make a bookmark folder

Hi everyone,

Is there any way that i could create a book mark folder to put a bookmark in when users use my link to book mark their page.

I know they get a dialog where they can add a folder easy enough, but was wondering if we could do it for them.
I have been looking at window.external, but wondering if anyone got any other ideas to pursue.

I agree that code should be cross-browser but unfortunately there is no bookmark page stuff that is cross-browser - i dont see window.sidebar as the same since it opens in the side bar.

I am actually working on an intranet app so i can guarantee 100% ie.

So, what about IE only, your comment suggests you know a none cross browser way?
