make a 500 set ring continuously

Can anyone tell me how to make a 500 set ring continuously instead of roll to VM. I have no hunt defined fo the TN and mwd set in the cls. Right now it goes to Call Pilot and indicates that they user does not subscribe to VM.

It is an option 11C switch.

Remove any entries you have in the HUNT and FTR CFW fields.

In the CLS add HTD and the FND.

The class will fix the ringing, but clean up your sets as much as possible. That way if you ever parse your TNB into an excel spreadsheet it is much cleaner.

It already has FND and HTD. HUNT is empty and there is no FTR. It is also worth mentioning that this is also an MCR on several other phones. Here is the phone config for the 500 set...

The DN is MARP'd to another phone. The MARP controls the the DN.

do an easy change on the 500 set, and when it gets to the Marp prompt, type 'Yes' and then hit return a couple of times.

jamie nailed it, only one set controls forward and hunt.. that thing called marp.. "Multi address redirection of prime" nortels code trying to say that when a number appears on more then one set, which one controls it.. 2 ways to go, as jamie posted. move the marp, or remove forward hunt on the marped station.. if it's still broke turn on marp switchwide
