Hi all.

Does anyone know if it's possible to make Oracle 10g Enterprise Edition run a particular instance as Standard Edition? That is, 'effectively 'downgrade' Oracle 10g EE to SE just for that database.

One of our production databases runs on a server with SE, but the development copy is on a server with EE (both 10.2.0.3).

We are therefore in danger of allowing EE functionality to slip into development/testing, only to find it doesn't work in production.

Upgrading the prod server to EE is not an option here, nor is downgrading the dev server to SE as it also runs other databases. I'm trying to avoid having to move the dev database to an SE server.

Any ideas or pointers?

Thanks.
