major trouble setting up java in xp

im trying to set up java in windows XP. i have opera installed with java. as far as i can see this is whats causing the problem. do any of ye know a way around this problem?

What's the problem ? What are the errors ? What can you not do that you expect you can ?

its grand now. i had to remove opera and a few other programs that were using java. then re-install java again and setup the classpaths again.

thanks anyways sedj :)
