Help...I changed the default Service account permission for the RPC service from LocalSystem to a different account (an administrator account) and now the machine won't boot. It hangs on the preparing network connections screen. It will boot into safe mode but the properties window for the service will not open so I can change the setting back to the default. Any ideas? Why won't the properties window open in safe mode?
P.S.: I did this to try to get a program working under terminal services that said that the RPC service wasn't available before I read that the localsystem account was the most powerful.
