Please help!!! Im stuck. I was hijack some time ago while browsing on the web and anything I do, wont work. I've tried CWshedder, spybot, Adware, and AVG virus and have taken all the spyware and viruses off but the crap still keeps coming back.

I change my home page back to msn.com and close out of internet explore and then go back to it, and I get some porn search engine that keeps coming back. Then on top of it I get porn sites added to my favorites folder that I have delete everytime I go to the net.

Then my cpu is incredibly slow booting up and when I shut down I get "Progream not responding" dialog box.

Please help. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Sounds like your browser has been hijacked. Run HijackThis and use the information in the FAQs in the Virus/Spyware forum here

to understand what is going on.

As an aside, I would also install a personal firewall application if you haven't already done so.

Spybot, AVG etc might have cleaned the problem but if it is set in the registry to run at reboot you need to fix the key. Most times the key you need to fix it the....
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

But be sure you know what your doing before modifying the registry. Always make a backup first :)

Once you cleared up the problem, to prevent this from happening again. Spybot has the solution. Once you Immunize Scroll down that page once it's complete, there will be an option to Lock Host File read only as protection against HiJackers and Lock IE start page setting against user changes
If you check both of those, your good to go
