ok i have no idea what to do about this ... when i try and change the number of sessions that is allowed by my Pervasive SQL it gives me some kind of error message saying "ERROR - Can't hold number of sessions" ... this is a major problem and i need to know why i can't change the number of sessions. does anybody know what to do about something like this and how i might go about fixing it? the DEFAULT value is set to 15, the max value appears to be 4096 ... i just need to change the value and make it higher than 15!

It depends on what platform you are on. This could be because you are on Win2K and aren't logged in with enough rights to write to the registry or there could be a problem with Pervasive.SQL. You also didn't mention which version, 7 or 2000? If I were you I would contact Pervasive Support to resolve this issue, but if you want to give some more details of your installation we can try to make some suggestions that would help.
