My server has several Hard Drives, and the one containing Exchange has crashed. I have full backups of Exchange on Symantec Backup Exec 10d. The Exchange Database and Streaming database are still intact on another drive. is there a way i can restore the storage folders to a different location and point exchange 2000 to the new storage group?

I have tried to create a new Storage Group, but my version of exchange does not allow multiple Storage Groups. i tried to delete the old one, but since all of my users are connected to this group it will not allow. is my only option disabling all of the accounts associated with this group, deleting, recreating, with the NEW Storage Location? or is it a way around? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

If you have the EDB and STM files - then what is missing to still be recovered?
