Maitre'D Info

Old Aloha customer/friend calls me and will be changing his system to Digital Dining or Maitre'D.
Does anyone have any positive or negative feedback on M'D? I picked through their website, but during my travels, I have never seen one of these systems.

No direct/personal experience, but an ex co-worker of mine has been selling it for a few years and said mostly positive things-he liked it. He puts it in the same category as some of the second tier products like Restaurant Manager, Digital Dining, and FuturePos.

I've lost a few deals to them over the years selling various products, as I have to DD too. And I know I don't have to tell you this-we've had this discussion before- but if it's probably better for a smaller customer than something like Aloha or Micros.

Haven't seen the latest release but, Maitre'd Posera is a great company, lots of options and very flexible.

They have a internet center that can e-mail you reports, hourly sales, warnings (it's 8 am and no one has clocked-in in he restaurant, Void was over a set limit, Some one sold a 200.00 bottle of wine, etc). As a past restaurant owner I would have loved these features. A inventory system that is real time, (out of Bud?, it will automatically inhibit the item).
