maintenance wizard does not start

I have Windows 98 SE. When I click on Maintenance Wizard via several routes, I get the question if I want to perform maintence now and I click on yes and then nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas? Defrag, etc will work. [sig][/sig]

Short of editing your registry (un)lucky4, the easiest way would be to go "control panel/add remove program/windows setup" and remove your "maintenance" option. Reboot then put the option back in and reboot again. Should fix though why anyone would want the wizard running anyway? Just another rescource muncher :-( [sig][/sig]
