Hello,

We had a problem with an enabled-test number 1524 causing loss of dial tone for 10 secs every 2 hours when it ran.

This test does an audit of media gateways and checks for lock phones etc and clears problems.

We had to disable this test to stop it causing processor occupancy overloads, however we have been advised by Avaya to allow it to run at least once a week during a quiet period.

If I reenable this test how can I tell when it has run so that I can disable it again?

Cheers.

if this test discover a problem when you do a 'disp error' it will show 1524 as the error type

The test is not "discovering" any problems, it is causing the CP occupancy to go high and creating overloads which makes the dial tone (call initialisation) disappear for 10secs whilst the test is running.

I just need a way of knowing when it has run so that I can disable it again!

It is easy to see if it has run... Since the test causes occupancy overloads, chech the measurments for occupancy, if you see a pick (overload) then the test has run.

That is what I had decided to do, but I was hoping there would be a more definitive way of telling the schedule of tests and when they run, just to be certain.

This test may be part of the nightly maintenance routine. If so you can go to "ch sys main" or change system parameters maintenance and schedule this test to run at differant times.

It is not part of the daily maintenance as it runs every 2 hours.
