Maintenance Plan Not Showing Up

Hi,

When I create a new maintenance plan through the Wizard it shows up under SQL Server Agent - Jobs, but the plan itself is not showing up under Maintenance Plans. I'm unable to edit the plan and it fails when I try to execute it.

Below is the error message that I get from the Job History Page

I've tried reinstalling SSIS but it did not help. I would greatly appreciate any help on this issue.

Are you trying to view it from the Client tools on your PC or on the actual server in which the database resides on? I've found that the Client tools will not display the details of the plans, but when logging directly into the server, I have all info present and editable.

Actually I tried both PC and Server without success.
