SQL 2005. I have a plan I'm having some trouble with. I'm trying to change the connection to use a domain service account instead of NT Integrated Security. In the connection properties I'm clicking to specify an id and password. I'm entering the id in the form <domain>\<username>. I am unable to connect.

In this particular dialog, am I being asked for a SQL ID instead of a domain ID? If so, Is there a way to specify a domain id instead of simply using integrated authentication?

The package will run under the domain account of the SQL Agent. To change this you have to setup a proxy account for SSIS job types then change the job step to run under this proxy account (I think).
