maintenance light on 81c

i have maintenance light is on, on remote cabinet of 81C. what is wrong. would you please let me know. thanks.

If you are talking about the system monitor light on the top cap then you can go to ld 37 and stat xsm. This will give you the status of all of the system monitors, any code other than pwr000 that you see look up.

by the way i have these maintenatnce light on the remote carrier I/F cards on the remote cabinets.

pwr002 pwsp 0 1 1

0 is the module
1 is the system monitor
1 is your ce/pe powersupply(2 would be your ring generator)

Check your bottom shelf on the column that has system monitor 1 should have a red light on the top of the column, and possibly a shelf down.
Also, it looks like the system monitor #2 is bad or unseated.

This is what the book says on the maintenance light

Amber maintenance
LED is on.
Test is performed over
one or more carrier in
the link. Alarms
disabled. SW1
position 2 set wrong.
Wait until the test is completed and analyze
the test data.
Enable the alarms.
Set SW1 position 2 correctly.
