What is a typical maintenance contract cost per year? This is for an IP Office ( I would immagine simmilar ammount for BCM), customer is wondering what this would cost comparred to service calls. Do people charge a flat fee based on the number of ports?

There is no average cost.
Some charge both ports or by phones and system etc.

You may want to ask in the IP Office forum however like me some wont give you any hints or costing.

Simply call some vendors and get quotes.
