Maintenance console issues

MAybe someone can help me out here,
I am running PB Unified mtc console 7.8.1.1_R14 and am having issues with it running,
if I try and access the drop down menus ( profiles or system type) the program locks up on the drop down menu and I cant do anything unless I shut the program down using the Task manager.
Laptop is running windows 7, I have set the Laptop back to factory and re-installed the software , done all windows updates and I am still having the same issues.
Any ideas as to wher eto proceed from here?

Have you tried installing the program on another PC?

Software loaded ok on a new HP laptop. it used to run ok on this Lenovo T510.
I have re-installed back to factory, applied all updates, it is the only program that locks up and fails to run

Finally got it sorted out. laptop has an issue with the keyboard (one of the keys don't work) so the OSK was running in the background. this was stopping the mtce console to lock up and not respond.Turn off OSK and all is well
