Maintanence Plan - Default File Extension on Report

Morning ...

I have maintanence plans that I set the default file extension to NEW on the DB backup and TLog backup. This is done intentionally so that I am able to differentiate between the old backups and the newest one created. Once I do my follow up work with these "New" backup files, I rename them back to BAK and TRN respectively.

Question is ... as part of the MaintPlan, i am writing the text report to a specified directory ... Can I OR Where Can I set the default extention of the report from TXT to NEW like the others?
